Hello Friends!
I am incredibly excited to start this new blogging adventure. Blogging has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager. In fact, I believe that this will be my fifth blog within the last 14 years of my life. Some of these blogs are still active and some of them have faded away. However, I have absolutely loved every experience and it has challenged me to grow both professionally and personally.
Crazy Little Life is a new adventure for me. It is a way for me to share my creativity and passions with others. In this blog, I will be sharing spaces that I have designed, DIY projects I have completed, traveling adventures, favorite shopping finds, and all of the joy and craziness of motherhood. It’s a crazy, little life but I am excited you are joining me on this adventure! But first, I want to take a moment and introduce myself.
I am a full-time working mom.
That’s right – I’m both. It drives me crazy sometimes when people say that I’m not a “full-time mom”. It’s not like I take my “mom hat” off when I go to work and put my “work hat” on. I wear both hats every day, all the time. When I’m at work, I think about my daughter and how her day is going. When I’m at home, I think about the things that have to be done the next day at work. It’s a balance but I love it.
As a profession, I work in education, although I won’t be going into the specifics of what I do in education on this blog. Feel free to reach out and ask me, but it’s not the space that I plan on discussing my profession very often. That’s for another blog. 😉
My daughter is 2 years old and has approached the two’s like a wrecking ball. She’s smart, feisty, and incredibly stubborn. I’m pretty sure a few of those qualities came from me.
I am a wife.
I’m married to the most wonderful husband. He’s not perfect but neither am I. He’s my best friend, my go-to person.
I am a Christian.
I grew up in a Christian home and it is the same way that we are raising our daughter. My faith is a big part of me and it will be something that I share from time to time. I’m not a perfect Christian, far from it. I’m also aware that there may be people that don’t want to follow my blog because of this. That’s okay, I respect others choose to follow the things that speak to them and not follow the things that do not.
I love to travel – especially camping!
My husband and I own a travel trailer and we LOVE to camp! We try to take the trailer out once a month to try and get away from all of the craziness that our daily life can bring.
I love to design spaces and work on projects.
In the last year, I have absolutely fallen in love with designing spaces in my house and working on DIY projects. It’s the best therapy – I swear! I am super excited to share this on upcoming posts!
